This four-bedroom residence in S-W London was fortunate to already have very strong architectural bones and period features that we could accentuate, including the glorious oakwood floors. The brief was to add colour, life and a timeless feel into a previously outdated home. Here we are striving to give birth to something timeless and backing away from the trends.

It was important to introduce our client's routine to the home without compromising on design. Our client is an avid reader and has a strong eye for colour as well as an appreciation of natural materials; with that comes an importance for a designated corner equipped with a proper slipper armchair and hand-made lacquered drinks tray...naturally. We also worked with upholsterers to transform a seriously dull White Company headboard into something a bit smarter - with dark pink piping to complement the skirting boards.

She and her family own a property in Spain, and that influence can be seen throughout the home with personal art the client had sourced and the porcelain blue merged into the primary bedroom's colour scheme.
